Basic Product Information

Screen Printing Security Ink Water Sensitive Ink For Paper & Fabric Printing Method: Screen printing.

Application: It can be printed on paper, PVC, PET and fabrics.

Paper Printing Guide: Print base image on paper, PVC, PET or fabric first and fully dry. Use 43‑77 T/CM screen mesh to print water sensitive ink. Re-print a second pass if higher hiding power is required.

PVC, PET & Fabric Printing Guide: Print base artwork and dry completely. Add 2% to 5% curing agent into ink to improve adhesion and stir evenly. The mixed ink must be finished within 4 hours once curing agent added.

Reducer: Use distilled water only as thinner.

Drying Method: Natural air drying or hot air drying at 80°C to 100°C.

Storage Conditions

1. Store in cool, dry and ventilated warehouse at temperature 10‑25℃, avoid freezing.
2. Keep away from direct sunlight, high temperature and heat sources.
3. Seal container tightly after opening; prevent evaporation and skinning.
4. Do not mix with other solvent-based inks.
5. Avoid long-term high humidity storage environment.

Shelf-Life

• Unopened original package: 12 months from production date
• After opening: Use up within 3 months; stir thoroughly before each use.
• After mixing with curing agent: Printing must be completed within 4 hours. Discard residual mixed ink and cannot be stored.

Warning: Expired ink may lead to poor hiding power, slow water response and peeling problems.

Q5: What thinner should I use? Can I add solvent? A: Only distilled water / deionized water. Do NOT add alcohol, solvent or common thinner, which will destroy water-sensitive resin and cause function failure. Max dilution ratio 1‑3%.

Q6: When should I add curing agent? A: For PVC, PET, fabric / textile printing: add 2‑5% curing agent to improve adhesion. Paper printing normally does not require curing agent. After mixing curing agent, finish printing within 4 hours; residual mixed ink cannot be stored.

Q7: Why water response is slow or no transparent effect? A: Common reasons: ①Ink film too thick; ②Ink not fully dried; ③Wrong solvent added and damaged water-sensitive composition; ④High absorption substrate. Adjust mesh and drying temperature, run pre-sample test before mass production.

Q8: How to clean screen after printing? A: Clean screen mesh timely with clean water before ink dries. Dried ink will block mesh holes permanently.
